The tentative period of performance for this requirement is 08 NOV 2021 - 31 JAN 2022. The solicitation number for this requirement is N32253-22-Q-0005. Proposals will be due on 01 November 2021, 10:00 am HST. Submissions are to be emailed to both the primary and secondary point of contacts listed in this posting. The solicitation is prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 13, as supplemented with additional information included with this notice. The Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PHNSY & IMF) intends to release a Request for Quote (RP), for Firm Fix-Price contract to Inspect, Repair and Preserve with HRMC-002-22. Work specifications HRMC-002-22 is included in this pre-solicitation as an attachment. This requirement is intended to be a total small business set-aside. Any interested party must have their own dry docking capabilities on the island of Oahu, HI. This pre-solicitation notice is issued in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation 15.202, Advisory Multi-Step Process. PHNSY & IMF will evaluate interested firms and advise the interested firms of the likelihood of each one being competitive in meeting Agency’s needs. The contractor must be able to demonstrate that they have the overall technical expertise to complete the scope of work. Furthermore the contractor must be registered and in good standing in System for Award Management (SAM) as a small business for NAICS code 336611. This is not a request for proposals. Any interested party that believes it can satisfy this requirement may submit a written capability statement. Submission of any information in response to this notice is purely voluntary. The government assumes no financial responsibility for any costs incurred. Telephonic responses are not allowed. To be evaluated for technical merit and capability, statements must be received by 14 OCT 2021. PHNSY & IMF intends to post the solicitation no later than 15 OCT 2021.
