Period of Performance will be from 05 January 2022 – 28 March 2022. This request for capability information does not constitute a request for proposals. Submission of any information in response to this market survey is purely voluntary. The government assumes no financial responsibility for any costs incurred. If your organization has the capability of performing these services, please provide the following information: (1) organization name, address, email address, website address, telephone number, size and type of ownership for the organization, CAGE code, DUNS number; and (2) tailored capability statement addressing the particulars of this effort, with appropriate documentation supporting claims of organizational and staff capability. Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PHNSY & IMF) requests for quote (RFQ) N32253-21-Q-0014 with the intent to award a Firm Fixed-Price contract to provide Marine Chemist services for approximately 20 jobs throughout the year for all ships and submarines undergoing maintenance work. The services shall include performing an inspection of tanks or piping for the purpose of certifying the area is safe to perform subsequent work operations. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 336611 for Ship Building and Repairing. The small business size standard for this NAICS code is 1,250 employees. The Product Service Code is R425, Engineer and Technical Services. All firms or individuals responding must be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM) (https://www.sam.gov) by the award date. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses will be those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2021-05, DFARS 02/24/2021, and NMCARS 18-17. Please note the following: This is a total small business set aside. The Government intends to issue a single-award with base period and four one-year option periods.
