The Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PHNSY & IMF) is seeking a qualified contractor to accomplish “DRY ICE” cleaning of the interior of supply and exhaust ventilation systems onboard a Los Angeles class submarine in accordance with HRMC-012-21. The required work shall take place at the JBPHH, HI. This requirement is intended to be a total small business set-aside. This pre-solicitation notice is issued in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation 5.204, Presolicition Notices. PHNSY & IMF will evaluate interested firms and advise the interested firms of the likelihood of each one being competitive in meeting Agency’s needs. Qualified contractors must perform the dry ice cleaning in accordance with NAVSEA Letter 9514 Ser 9210/021 dtd 20 May 2009, Dry Ice Cleaning of Ventilation Ducts. The contractor must be able to demonstrate that they have the overall technical expertise to complete the scope of work. Furthermore, the contractor must be registered and in good standing in System of Award Management (SAM) as a small business for NAICS code 336611. This is not a request for proposals. Any interested party that believes it can satisfy this requirement may submit a written capability statement to the contacts listed below. Telephonic responses are not permitted. Statements must be received by 10 MAY 2021. The tentative delivery date for this requirement is 27 JUN 2021. PHNSY & IMF intends to post the solicitation for this requirement on or about 10 MAY 2021.
