The Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PHNSY & IMF) is seeking sources that are interested and capable of providing all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and non-personal services necessary to perform refurbishment services of the EDG Blower as defined in the attached DRAFT Performance Work Statement except for those items specified as government furnished property and services. Under the authority 10 U.S.C.2304(c)(1) as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302-1, Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PHNSY & IMF) seeks a contractor to provide technical services to the Shipyard for refurbishment of the EDG Blower in support of an OHIO class vessel. Currently Fairbanks-Morse is the only vendor capable of performing this work as they are the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and they possess proprietary software that allows them to perform the work while meeting the Navy’s standards and expectations. Additional details and specifications can be found in the attached DRAFT PWS. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 811310. The small business size standard for this NAICS code is $8M. The Product Service Code is J020 Maintenance, Repair, and Rebuilding of Equipment. This request for capability information does not constitute a request for quotation. Any interested party that believes it can satisfy this requirement may submit a written capability statement to the primary point of contact.
