Under the authority 10 U.S.C.2304(C)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, the Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard intends to award a contract to Leonardo DRS, Marlo Coil to perform A&I V-0087 installation, inspection, operational tests, and technical assistance for the ship stores refrigeration unit (SSRU) onboard a 774-class Navy submarine. Leonardo DRS, Marlo Coil is the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) and is the only vendor to with the proprietary information to meet the Navy's standards and expectations of the specific SSRU on a 774-class Navy submarine.

Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PHNSY & IMF) is seeking sources to repair the ship stores refrigeration unit. Any interested party that believes it is capable of meeting the requirement described herein may submit a capability statement. All capability statements received will be evaluated to determine technical merit. Responses must be submitted in writing no later than the time and date noted below.
