The Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PHNSY & IMF) is issuing this Sources Sought Notice as a means to conduct market research. This is to identify interested parties for the requirement to provide a Manufacturer Trained Technician to repair the Bourn & Koch CNC Blanchard Grinder 20 x 36, S/N BL36565499, to a fully operational condition. The Contractor shall provide annual preventive maintenance and remedial service, re-set the machine to “SET HOME” position and clear alarms. They must also provide an inspection report of work performed as described in the Performance Work Statement. The result of this market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement. The applicable North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 333517, Small Business Size: 500. The Product Service code is L049- Technical Representative-Maintenance and Repair Shop Equipment. The request for capability information does not constitute a request for proposals. Submission of any information in response to this notice is purely voluntary. The government assumes no financial responsibility for any cost incurred.
