Cepeda Associates has been found to be the only vendor that can perform this type of work onboard naval 688 class submarines while meeting the military/Navy's standards. Cepeda Associates has never released this proprietary information to anyone, including the Government.

Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PHNSY & IMF) is issuing this sources sought synopsis as a means of conducting market research to seek eligible contractors to inspect, maintain, and repair #1 and #2 scrubbers and #1 and #2 burners onboard naval 688 class submarines. See attached specification for more information. The Government intends to solicit for the scrubbers and burners repairs. The Government does not possess the proprietary information needed to conduct these repairs. All responsible sources may identify their interest and provide capability statements in response to this notice. Capability statements shall demonstrate the Contractor’s capability to perform the requirements. The request for capability information does not constitute a request for proposals. Submission of any information in response to this market survey is purely voluntary and the Government does not assume financial responsibility for any costs incurred. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
