This Sources Sought Notice is being posted in accordance with DFARS PGI 206.302-1(d). The Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PHNSY & IMF) is issuing a modification to extend the period of performance for contract N32253-19-P-0060. The contract was awarded to RIX Industries on 29 April 2019 to provide technical assistance services to PHNSY & IMF during disassembly, on load, reassembly and reinstallation of the high-pressure, oil-free air compressors (Model 5R5-75B), manufactured by RIX Industries, using AERP assets provided by the Government. RIX Industries' equipment and repair knowledge are proprietary. It appears no other vendor can perform the repair. They are the manufacturer and certified technicians of the HPAC system. This is not a request for proposals. Any interested party that believes it can satisfy this requirement may submit a written capability statement to both the primary and secondary point of contact. The government assumes no financial responsibility for any cost incurred. Telephonic responses are not allowed. In determining whether or not to compete this requirement, the Government has sole discretion.
