Under the authority 10 U.S.C.2304(c)(1) as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302-1, Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PHNSY & IMF) is seeking sources that are interested and capable of providing technical guidance during the execution of A&I V0087 on the Ship Stores Refrigeration Unit. This is not a request for proposals. Any interested party that believes it can satisfy this requirement may submit a written capability statement. Telephonic responses are not allowed. To be evaluated for technical merit and capability, statements must be received by the stated deadline. Capability statements should include the following: 1) Business name and address; 2) Name of company representative, business title and email; 3) Large or Small Business Size and Type of Small Business (if applicable); 4) Cage Code; 5) DUNS Number; 6) Contract vehicles that would be available to the Government for the procurement of the product and service, to include General Service Administration (GSA), Federal Supply Schedules (FSS), or any other Government Agency contract vehicle. (This information is for market research only and does not preclude your company from responding to this notice.) 7) Interested businesses should submit a brief capabilities statement package (no more than six pages) demonstrating ability to perform the services listed in this Technical Description. Documentation should be in bullet format. In determining whether or not to compete this requirement, the Government has sole discretion.
