Prepare for and accomplish the Post Shakedown Availability (PSA) of the USNS ROBERT E SIMANEK (T-ESB 7) as specified in the solicitation and in accordance with the work item package. The anticipated period of performance is 18 October 2025 – 15 January 2026. The place of performance for this contract shall be the contractor’s facility. Due to operational and national security availability considerations, the location shall be East Coast and Gulf, United States. Major work items will include: Machinery Space, Deck Utilization Plan, Flight Deck, Underside Cleaning, Exhaust Stack Access Ladder Modification, Propulsion Motor and Cooler, Cleaning, Inspection and Maintenance, Cleaning Main Generators and Propulsion Control System, CCTV Monitoring System Expansion, TV-DTS System Installation, Bow Radar Installation, AC Chiller Repairs, Dumbwaiter Installation, Segregate Black and Grey Water Transfer Line, Grey Water System Isolation Modification, Fire Doors and Shutters, ECRl Deck Head Installation, Bridge Wing Shelter Installation, CBRD Cage Space Installation and Outfitting, and Miscellaneous Space Insulate, and other types of work required to meet regulatory requirements set forth, by the United States Coast Guard (USCG) and American Bureau of Shipping (ABS). All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the agency. The solicitation will be made available on or about 20 March, 2025 through the Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment Solicitation Module. https://piee.eb.mil/sol/xhtml/unauth/index.xhtml To obtain access to the work item package and government furnished information technical data, complete and return the attached non-disclosure agreement to the point of contact of this announcement. The decision to solicit under full and open competition was made from market research sources sought noticed that was posted on the government point of entry (GPE).
