Description: One, U.S. or foreign flag, self-sustaining vessel capable of carrying a minimum of 250 ammo TEUs, while satisfying all applicable regulatory HAZMAT compatibility and segregation requirements. 17. Place of Contract Performance: The load port/place is Military Ocean Terminal, Concord, CA, USA (MOTCO), with an Available Load Date (ALD) of 17 November 2024. The first discharging port/place is Tengan, Okinawa, Japan, with the Latest Arrival Date (LAD) of 11 December 2024. The second discharging port/place is Apra Harbor, Guam, with the LAD of 20 December 2024. The third discharging port/place is Tengan, Okinawa, Japan, with the LAD of 28 December 2024. The laydays shall be a two-day window, to be indicated by Owners/Offerors, such that the ALD in MOTCO and LADs are met. The charter period will be one voyage. 18. Set-aside Status: Total Small Business Set-Aside. The decision to release this solicitation as a Total Small Business Set-aside is based on responses received from a recent, sources sought notice for this service. MSC’s Deputy Associate Director of Small Business has concurred with this decision.
