Description: This requirement is for one, U.S. or foreign flag, self-sustaining Lift-On/Lift-Off, breakbulk vessel capable of carrying a minimum of 750 TEUs, to support resupply operations. The containers have an average weight of 30,000 lbs and a minimum of 50 reefer plugs. The maximum length overall of the vessel shall not to exceed 180 meters/590 feet, the laden draft shall not exceed 9.7 meters/32 feet, and the minimum laden speed shall be 15 knots. The vessel shall have a minimum range of 10,000 nautical miles unrefueled. 17. Place of Contract Performance: The place/range of delivery and redelivery is Port Hueneme, CA (USA), with no coastwise movements. The laydays commence 13 December and cancel 14 December 2023, with offerors to indicate estimated time of arrival. The charter period will be 85 days. 18. Set-aside Status: N/A. The decision to release this solicitation as “Unrestricted” is based on responses received from a recent sources sought notice for this service. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the agency. The Small Business Administration Procurement Center Representative has concurred with this decision.
