The purpose of this item is to provide the required maintenance and repair actions to be performed on a MSC ship critical safety item. Only original equipment manufacturer (OEM) authorized technical field service providers or MSC qualified non-OEM technical field service providers, and OEM authorized or MSC qualified non-OEM parts shall be used to accomplish the requirements of this SOW for this ship critical safety item including oversight and guidance on all aspects of equipment as-found condition inspection, removal, disassembly, reassembly, repairs, modifications, reinstallation, and testing as applicable.
