This requirement and posting of a Justification for an Exception to Fair Opportunity document is for the award of a one-year bridge, task order contract, to bridge existing task order N32205-18-F-1337; issued against Spiral 3 IDIQ N00244-18-D-0002 with T-Mobile. This contract bridge will be awarded on a sole-source basis to T-Mobile, and will result in a new task order number issued against the Spiral 3 IDIQ number N00244-18-D-0002. The purpose of this one-year bridge contract is to prevent a break in services, and to provide all of the equipment and services that are currently being provided in the existing N32205-18-F-1337 contract. This bridge is also being executed due to a delay in the award of the Spiral IV (IDIQ) contract; the mandatory source for DoD Wireless Cellular Services, which has prevented MSC from awarding its Spiral 3 follow-on contract.
