The Contractor shall operate and maintain the vessel to support the assigned missions. The vessel shall be operated in a professional manner and maintained in a good operable condition, and shall be mission-ready at all times (excluding scheduled maintenance, repair and overhaul periods). The Contractor shall operate the vessel and related systems and equipment in accordance with all relevant laws, terms of this contract, United States Coast Guard (USCG) and American Bureau of Shipping (ABS) rules and regulations that would apply as if it is owned by a non-government entity, which includes, but is not limited to, maintaining a valid USCG Certificate of Inspection and ABS Classifications (including all statutory certificates) at all times.
