The Military Sealift Command (MSC) requires marine and industrial lubricants for the MSC Worldwide Lubrication Program. The Government is contracting not only for specific products, but also for the availability and delivery of these products on a worldwide basis within specific time as stated in the Statement of Work (SOW) and associated attachments. The Contractor shall provide worldwide lubricants (mineral, synthetic, biodegradable) to both MSC and USS Naval ships in named ports and twelve (12) geographical areas around the world. The attached SOW and associated attachments are working drafts of the scope to be included in this proposed contract. It is anticipated that not all products and services will be able to be provided by any major oil company. Those items or service that cannot be provided will be evaluated for removal from this requirement to ensure we can have the maximum amount of competition in the future award.
