Description: This requirement is for U.S. or foreign flag, self-sustaining Lift-On/Lift-Off (LO/LO), breakbulk vessel(s) (multiple awards up to two vessels) each capable of carrying a minimum of 750 TEU’s and an additional 25,000 square feet of cargo space, to support resupply operations for McMurdo Station, Antarctica/Operation Deep Freeze 2023. The vessel must be capable of 15 knots minimum when laden and must not exceed maximum overall length of less than or equal to 180 meters (590 feet) and a laden draft of less than or equal to 9.7 meters (32 feet). 17. Place of Contract Performance: The place/range of delivery and redelivery is Port Hueneme, CA, (USA). The laydays commence and cancel 15 -16 December 2022 for scenario one and commence and cancel 26-27 December 2022 for scenario two. Offerors to indicate estimated time of arrival (ETA). The period of performance will be for 77 days. 18. Set-aside Status: N/A. The decision to release this solicitation as “Unrestricted” is based on responses received from a recent sources sought notice for this service. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. Small Business Administration Procurement Center Representative has concurred with this decision.
