Description: One, U.S. flag, Jones Act-compliant, self-sustaining vessel, or ABS certified tug & barge unit, capable of carrying a minimum of 45 TEUs of containerized ammunition. Vessel or tug/barge unit overall length not to exceed 700 ft. / 214 m and laden draft not to exceed 50 ft. / 15.2 m. 17. Place of performance: The load port/place is Military Ocean Terminal, Concord, CA (MOTCO), with an Available Load Date (ALD) of 06 September 2022; the discharging port/place is Valdez, AK with an Earliest Arrival Date (EAD)/Latest Arrival Date (LAD) of 18 September 2022. The layday shall be a two-day to be indicated by Owner/ Offeror, such that the ALD in MOTCO and EAD/LAD in Valdez, AK are met. 18. Set-aside Status: 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The decision to release this solicitation as a Total Small Business Set-aside is based on responses received from a recent, sources sought notice for this service.
