Intended Hazardous Material (Without Guarantee); Hazard Class 1 material, Divisions 1.1 through 1.4. Container Dimensions: 20-foot ISO containers, average container weight of 31,000 lbs. Maximum container weight of 39,500 lbs. Maximum Length Overall (LOA) not to exceed 825 ft. / 251.4m and laden draft not to exceed 33.8 ft./ 10.3m. The vessel shall have a minimum laden speed of 15 knots. Place of Contract Performance: The place/range of delivery is Military Ocean Terminal, Sunny Point, NC (USA) and redelivery is Nordenham, Germany. The layday commences 09 June and cancels 14 June 2022; offerors to indicate estimated time of arrival (ETA). The charter period will be 20 days. Set-aside Status: N/A. The decision to release this solicitation as “Unrestricted” is based on responses received from a recent sources sought notice for this service. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. MSC’s Deputy Associate Director of Small Business has concurred with this decision. NOTE: Due to unusually compressed schedule requirements, MSC has no intention of conducting communications with offerors to resolve issues of concern in their proposals. Offerors should not anticipate an opportunity to correct or otherwise amend their proposals after this solicitation closes.
