Description: This requirement is for one, U.S. flag vessel capable of carrying a minimum of six (6) 20-feet ISO containers, four (4) of which are comprised of Class 7 and Class 8 hazardous material and 20 boxes (8 ft long x 4 ft wide x 5 feet high each) of Class 4.1 and Class 7 hazardous material, while satisfying cargo compatibility and segregation requirements. Barges are not acceptable for this movement due to the nature of the cargo. Minimum laden speed shall be 15 knots. 17. Place of Contract Performance: The place/range of delivery is Berth 13, Yokosuka, Japan and the redelivery is Bremerton, Washington (USA). The layday commences 19 April and cancels 22 April 2022. The charter period will be 30 days. 18. Set-aside Status: N/A. The decision to release this solicitation as “Unrestricted” is based on responses received from a recent sources sought notice for this service. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. Small Business Administration Procurement Center Representative has concurred with this decision.
