THIS IS A SYNOPSIS NOTICE ONLY. This is not a solicitation or request for proposal/bid/quotation and no contract will be awarded from this notice. Military Sealift Command (MSC) has a requirement for the upcoming Regular Overhaul Dry Docking (ROH/DD) on the USNS GUADALUPE (T-AO 200). The period of performance for this requirement is on or about 01 August 2022 for seventy-five (75) calendar days. The USNS GUADALUPE (T-AO 200) has a length of 677 Ft and 6 in, a Beam of 97 Ft, Draft of 36 Ft and Displacement of 40,700 long Tons and 45,584 short tons at full load. Area of consideration are the West Coast. Major work items associated with this availability include: Dry docking, Sea Valve Inspection, Tank Painting, Propeller Repairs, Shaft Seal Repairs, Underwater Hull painting, Freeboard Painting, Ballast and Cargo Tank Painting, Unrep Equipment repairs, Anchor chain Inspection, Fire Fighting Equipment recertification, Lifeboat recertification, LifeRaft recertification, Radar equipment installation, Pump Repairs, Motor Repairs, House Painting and Port Light repairs and Degaussing Conduit removal. The estimated issue date for this solicitation is on or about 01 January 2022. Upon issuance, the solicitation and supporting documentation will be posted and be found on www.SAM.gov under solicitation number N3220522R2051. A Sources Sought Notice was posted on beta.SAM on 28 October 2021 with a response date of 16 November 2021. As a result of said notice, this requirement will be solicited as Full and Open competition. MSC’s Small Business Deputy Director, Jacqueline Alford, reviewed the market research results and concurred with the decision to procure this requirement as such on 29 November 2021. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation in response to the solicitation which shall be considered by MSC. Additionally, all responses must provide a DUN & Bradstreet Number and a Cage Code. The appropriate NAICS Code is 336611. The Government is not obligated to and will not pay for any information received from this potential source as a result of this synopsis. There are no responses due based on this pre-solicitation notice.
