This is not a solicitation or request for proposal and no contract will be awarded from this notice. The Military Sealift Command has a requirement for the upcoming Regular Overhaul / Dry Docking (ROH) for the USNS WALTER S. DIEHL (T-AO 193). The period of performance for this requirement is on/about 04 October 2021 and continuing for a period of 60 calendar days. The USNS WALTER S. DIEHL has a length of 677 Ft 6 In, a Beam of 97 ft and 6 in, Draft of 36 ft and Displacement of 40,700 long Tons and 42,382 short tons at full load. Area of consideration is East/Gulf Coast. Major work items associated with this availability include: Misc Steel Repairs, Hull Gauging, Tank Preservation, UnRep Stations Steel Repairs, Repair 06 Plenum Deck, Unrep Steel Repairs, Non-Skid Replace, Repair Watertight Closures, Inspection of P &S Reduction Gears, Overhaul P&S PTO Clutch/Coupling, Inspect and Overhaul Main Engine P&S Clutch & Coupling, Overhaul Steering Pumps & Servos and Sys RPRS, P&S PTO Generators and Cabinets Groom, HPAC 4000 HR Overhaul, House Ventilation Cleaning, Docking and Undocking Revised, Port CPP OD Box Overhaul, P&S Hub Inspections, Stern Tube Seal Maintenance, Preservation of Freeboard, Propeller Shaft Weardown Readings, Underwater Hull Preservation, Overhauling Sea Valves, and Tailshaft Survey (ABS). After issuance, solicitation and supporting documents will be made available on the Government Point of Entry website www.Beta.Sam.Gov. This requirement will be solicited as a Small Business Set-Aside. The estimated issue date for this solicitation is on or about 14 April 2021. Upon issuance, the solicitation and supporting documentation will be posted at Beta.Sam.Gov. All requests must provide DUN & Bradstreet number and Cage Code. The appropriate NAICS Code is 336611. The Government is not obligated to and will not pay for any information received from this potential source as a result of synopsis. There are no responses due based on this pre-solicitation notice.
