The Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PHNSY & IMF) intends to release a Request For Quote (RFQ), for a Firm Fixed-Price contract to replace the fuel tank for a RHIB vessel in accordance with HRMC-020-21 work package. Work specification HRMC-020-21 is included in this pre-solicitation as an attachment. The required work shall take place at the contractor’s facility. Any interested party must have their own dry docking capabilities on the island of Oahu, HI. This pre-solicitation notice is issued in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 15.202, Advisory Multi-Step Process. The contractor must be able to demonstrate that they have the overall technical expertise to complete the scope of work. Furthermore, the contractor must be registered and in good standing within the System for Award Management (SAM) system and meet the small business requirements for NAICIS code 336611. This is not a request for proposals. Any interested party that believes it can satisfy this requirement may submit a written capability statement. Submission of any information in response to this notice is purely voluntary. The government assumes no financial responsibility for any costs incurred. Telephonic responses are not allowed. To be evaluated for technical merit and capability, statements must be received by 07/23/2021. PHNSY & IMF intends to post the actual solicitation for at least 7 days, starting on 07/23/2021.
