Military Sealift Command Combined Synopsis and Solicitation Notice Information The USNS HUMPHREYS has a bona-fide need for the services of a USCG and SOLAS authorized life raft certification facility to complete the annual inspection of the vessel’s life rafts and hydrostatic release devices for USCG recertification. The period of performance is to be Award through 08 May 2020 at the Contractor’s facility. This is a combined synopsis and solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with FAR 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. See attachments for combined synopsis/solicitation and statement of work. Amendment 0001 issued on 13 April 2020 is for the following change and response to bidder’s questions. POP: AWARD – 22 May 2020 Question: It would be most helpful to know the “latest” date the vessel would need this swap set (in the NOB warehouse) serviced and ready to go on the vessel in Norfolk.
