Military Sealift Command Combined Synopsis and Solicitation Notice Information The Military Sealift Command has a bona-fide need for inspections, maintenance, repair, testing, painting, stenciling and certification of Material Handling Equipment (MHE). The period of performance is to be Award through 25 September 2020 at the Contractor’s facility. This is a combined synopsis and solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with FAR 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. See attachments for combined synopsis/solicitation, justification for limited source and statement of work. Amendment 0001 issued on 02 June 2020 is for the following response to bidder’s questions. Question: Provide submittal highlights for a complete quote. Answer: Highlights to submit quote as follows. -Responsible sources shall provide the following: Price quote which identifies the requested item(s), labor hours (straight time and over time) and labor rate(s), material list and cost for each and the part number and travel cost (per diem, rental car, hotel, administrative fees, etc.) Total Firm Fixed price Any Discount Terms Technical Submission Requirements a. For a Services buy, the quote shall contain all pre-award submission/certification requirements as defined in the statement of work (SOW). -Please ensure ALL labor and material to complete the SOW are included in quote. Labor shall include breakdown for number of hours and labor rates. Material shall reflect as needed per the SOW. -Include clarifications and/or exceptions if necessary to evaluate quote. Question: If awarded contract, will invoicing at certain portions of completion be possible? Answer: Progress payments can be requested, please submit on quote. All other terms and conditions remain unchanged.
