This posting constitutes the Military Sealift Command's (MSC) posting of the combined synopsis/solicitation for the system inspection, groom and demonstration of L-3 HENSCHEL (now L3HARRIS) Engine Room Control Console in support of the USNS PATUXENT 2019 MRE/SMART Inspection. This requirement is being solicited on a sole source basis. The government intends to make award via a Purchase Order to L3 Technologies, Inc. 90 Nemco Way, Ayer, MA, see attached SSJ. All work shall be completed by 20 December 2019. The statutory authority for other than full and open competition is FAR 13.106-1. The applicable NAICS Code is 811310 and the size standard of $7,500,000. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit quotes. This combined synopsis/solicitation is not a request for competitive quotes. However, all quotes received within 5 days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement upon receipt of response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
