Description: This requirement is for one U.S. Flag, Jones Act qualified vessel to support Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Group Two/Mobile Dive and Salvage (MDS) diving operations and training exercises. The laydays commence/cancel on 15 March 2021. 17. Place of Contract Performance: The vessel will operate out of Virginia Beach, VA and throughout the western Atlantic Ocean, Key West, Florida, Gulf of Mexico, and Caribbean and be required to pull into military and civilian ports as needed by specific training evolutions. The operational areas will be discussed with vessel operator prior to conducting ship load out. 18. Set-aside Status: The decision to release this solicitation as Unrestricted is based on responses received from a recent market survey for this service. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the agency. MSC’s Small Business Procurement Center Representative has concurred with this decision
