Description: MSC requires a total of four tugs, two Type A, Class II and two Type B U.S. flag tugs (as defined in Department of Defense, Standard Practice, Tug Requirements For Handling U.S. Navy Ships, Section 5.2), to provide harbor support services and ship handling for the designated areas of Puget Sound, WA. This contract is for all requirements that cannot be satisfied with Government-owned, Government-controlled or time chartered vessels. The actual work may vary considerably from the schedule of estimates contained herein. All work will take place within the following regions: Bremerton, WA; Everett, WA; Manchester, WA; and Port Hadlock, WA. The base ordering period begins 01 October 2020. 17. Set-aside Status: N/A. The decision to release this solicitation as "Unrestricted" is based on responses received from a recent market survey for this service.
