Description: Request one, U.S. flag (upon delivery) vessel with the capability to carry a minimum of 4 TEU’s comprised of hazardous material (CLASS 7 and CLASS 8), 2 TEU’s of general cargo and 15 wood and metal boxes comprised of hazardous material (CLASS 7 and CLASS 4.1) while satisfying cargo compatibility and segregation requirements on a time charter basis. Barges or Integrated Tug and Barges (ITBs) are not acceptable for this movement due to the nature of the cargo. 17. The place/range of delivery Yokosuka, Japan and redelivery is Bremerton, WA (USA). The layday commences 30 March and cancels 02 April 2020, and the charter period will be 32 days. 18. The decision to release this solicitation as “Unrestricted” is based on all work being done outside the United States and its outlying areas. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. MSC’s Associate Deputy Director of Small Business has concurred with this decision.
