Amendment 1: Amendment 001 is issued to update the Point of Contact for this RFP; please see attached for full details. Original: The Military Sealift Command has a requirement for the time charter of one U.S. or foreign flag (to be reflagged U.S.), Surveillance Towed Array Sensor System-Expeditionary (SURTASS-E), vessel in support of U.S. Navy operations worldwide. This solicitation is a fixed-price time charter with reimbursable elements for a performance period of 12 months, plus three 1-year option periods and one 11-month option period. The ship will need to be able to tow a passive acoustic monitoring system in a straight line for extended periods at slow speed. This contract requires the Contractor to have and maintain a SECRET facilities clearance.
