Vessel will be capable of installing the Submarine Rescue Diving Recompression System (SRDRS), which is used for submarine rescue. Vessel must be currently vetted and approved by U.S. Navy, Undersea Rescue Command (URC). The vessel will operate out of the Naval Submarine Base, New London, CT, throughout the western Atlantic Ocean, and be required to pull into military and civilian ports as needed by specific evolutions. The laydays commence and cancel on 06 January 2020. Place of Contract Performance: Operations shall be conducted at Naval Submarine Base, New London, CT. Set-aside Status: N/A. The decision to release this solicitation as “Unrestricted” is based on responses received from a recent market survey for this service. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency.
