Description: This requirement is for one, clean, approved, U.S. or foreign-flagged, double-hull tanker, with segregated ballast tanks, capable of carrying a minimum of 40,000 bbls of clean petroleum products (intentions JP5, F76 and/or JA1) within the vessel's natural segregation in designated cargo tanks with double-valve isolation. 17. Place of Contract Performance: The place/range of delivery is the Western Pacific / Sea of Japan, Range and Port in CHOP (Intentions Akasaki, Japan), and the place/range of redelivery is the Western Pacific / Sea of Japan, Range and Port in CHOP (Intentions Hachinohe, Japan). The laydays commence 15 June and cancel 17 June 2019 and the period of performance will be about 48 days. 18. Set-aside Status: N/A. The decision to release this solicitation as "Unrestricted" is based on all work being done outside the United States and its outlying areas. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. MSC's Deputy Associate Director of Small Business has concurred with this decision.
