MSC has a service requirement to support the T-EPF equipment associated MTU 20V8000M71L Main Diesel Engines including, but not limited to the main diesels, diesel monitoring and control systems, safety devices, engineering operating station panels, and engine mounted devices on the T-EPF vessels. This requirement is for the USNS CITY OF BISMARCK. The OEM, MTU, is required for all 20V8000M71L Main Diesel Engines maintenance and services onboard all T-EPF class vessels. The estimated issue date of this solicitation is 02 March 2020. After issuance, the solicitation may be obtained on the beta.SAM.gov at website:https://beta.sam.gov/ All Small Businesses, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business, Certified HUB Zone and Certified 8(a) Small Businesses are encouraged to respond. The Government will determine whether, a set-aside acquisition in lieu of full and open competition is in the Government's best interest. This office anticipates award of a contract on or about 09 March 2020. The Appropriate NAICS Code is 811310, Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment (except Automotive and Electronic) Repair and maintenance, which has a size standard of 8 million. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE OR PROPOSAL. It is a market research tool used to determine the availability and adequacy of potential small business sources prior to determining the method of acquisition and issuance of an award. It is requested that interested small businesses submit to the contracting office a brief capabilities package demonstrating ability to complete the requested work. This document shall address, as a minimum the following: (1) Company Profile to include number of employees, office location(s), DUNS number, CAGE code and a statement regarding small business designation and status; (2) Partnership agreements with any large businesses. Proprietary information, if any, should be minimized and MUST BE CLEARLY MARKED. To aid the Government, please segregate proprietary information.
