Request for Information (RFI) / Sources Sought Notice Subject to FAR clause 52.215-3 entitled “Request for Information or Solicitation for Planning Purposes,” this announcement constitutes a Sources Sought Notice for information and planning purposes for qualified sources to provide Facilities Support. This is not a solicitation announcement for quotes and no contract will be awarded for quotes and no contract will be awarded from this announcement. It is not to be construed in any way as a commitment by the Government for any purpose other than to gain the information requested, nor will the Government pay for the information submitted in response. Interested parties are encouraged to respond to this RFI/Source Sought Notice. Draft Requirement 1. Background 1. The United States Navy has a requirement for facilities support at Commander, United States Second Fleet in Norfolk, VA. 2. Performance of Work (PWS) Statement is attached to RFI/Sources Sought Notice. 3. Contractor must be able to meet all security personnel requirements and adhere to all sections of the PWS at all times. 4. Proposed period of performance is from date of award for 12 months plus four (4) 12 month options. 5. Place of performance is Commander, U.S. Second Fleet, Naval Support Activity Hampton Roads (NSA), 7927 Ingersol Street, Suite 130, Building NH-19A, Norfolk, VA 23551. NAICS Code The NAICS Code for this requirement is anticipated to be 561210 and the size standard is $47.0 million. Capabilities Statement This is a market research tool. The input provided will help the Navy ascertain the interest, capability, and capacity of potential businesses.
