This acquisition will use the FAR 16.507-6(b)(1) exception to fair opportunity because the agency’s need is urgent and providing fair opportunity would cause unacceptable delays. The contractor will provide USPACFLT MFEA with technical and functional program support services. Work includes comprehensive subject matter expertise, technical analysis, and program management support for global alignment of Navy and Marine Corps naval fires and targeting requirements across DOTMLPF-P. The period of performance consists of an 8-month base period plus a 4-month option.
