The Naval Air Warfare Center (NAWCAD) Contracts Department, Patuxent River, MD intends to issue a Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF) Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract to Aviation Systems Engineering Company (ASEC), 21801 N. Shangri La Dr, Lexington Park, MD, on an other than full and open basis, the NAWCAD Advanced Technology Development Department has a requirement for professional engineering services and supplies in support of naval airborne anti-submarine warfare systems. The requirements span all Navy and Marine Corps type/model/series, other Government agency and foreign military platforms, and across all phases of the systems life cycle. The authority permitting other than full and open competition is provided in 10 U.S.C. 3204(a)(5), Authorized or required by statute. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, responsible interested parties may submit information in which they can identify interest and capability to respond to this requirement. Responses must be received by the closing date of this synopsis. The Government will consider all information received prior to the closing date of this synopsis. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed contract modification based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government will not pay for any information received.
