This announcement, with its attachments, constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested. The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD), Procurement Group, Patuxent River, MD intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) contract, brand name specific, for Dell PowerEdge Server, components and technical support for 3 years. The statutory authority permitting other than Full and Open Competition in USC 2304(c)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1 only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The procedures of FAR Part 12 and Part 13.5 will be utilized for this commercial brand name specific acquisition. This may be accomplished electronically at http://www.sam.gov/vendor.cfm A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Vendor MUST submit proposals and provide authorized distributor certificate. Information received will normally be considered for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The Government will not pay for any information received.
