See attached Amendment for more information. RFQ# N0042123R0018 is for the procurement of a Materials Engineering Autoclave for the NAWCAD Air Vehicle Engineering Department. See Section C for Statement of Work. *UPDATE* The deadline to request a site visit has been extended to February 8th, at 12:00 PM EST. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6 and the procedures of FAR 13.5 using Simplified Acquisition Procedures, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ), solicitation number is N0042123R0018. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2023-01. This is a firm fixed-price procurement; therefore, the Offeror’s initial offer should represent the vendor’s best quote in terms of price and technical acceptability. The Government will not pay for any information received. Technical acceptability will be determined solely on the content and merit of the information submitted in response to this synopsis/solicitation. Therefore, it is incumbent on the Offeror to provide sufficient technical literature, documentation, etc. in order for the Government to make an adequate technical assessment of the quote. A firm fixed price contract is anticipated. The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Products and Commercial Services, applies to this acquisition. Offerors shall include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Products and Commercial Services, with its offer. The clause at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Products and Commercial Services, applies to this acquisition and a statement regarding any addenda to the clause. The clause at 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Products and Commercial Services, applies to this acquisition and a statement regarding which, if any, of the additional FAR clauses cited in the clause are applicable to the acquisition.
