Is there a loading dock or area the truck needs to park to perform the services at all locations? Government Response: yes Question 6. Formulating a proposal that meets the requirements depends on the answers we receive from questions asked. Will the agency consider extending the offer due date to provide adequate time to review answers from vendor asked questions? Government Response: No 7. Which system are you using for badging (if any) USAccess, e-Quip, or another system? Certain badging processes can take from 14 to 30+ days to process, will you allow our employees to work during the processing period or will you provide an escort during that period? Government Response: Contractors will obtain 1-day passes from the Patuxent River Pass Office every time they enter the base to provide service. Escorts will be provided for secure buildings. Government Response: No training required. 10. The containers that are listed as 39 gallon, are those stationary consoles? Government Response: Yes they are stationary consoles. 11. Please clarify the CLINs 0001, 0002, 0003. Government Response: CLIN 0001 is FFP for the Basic Contract, CLIN 0002 is for Unscheduled Event #1 & 0003 is for Unscheduled Event #2. 12. Please confirm the bin type and quantity. Government Response: Please use the type and quantities from the attached Base Shred Table. 13. Can you please clarify the unit “lot”? Government Response: A specified quantity of material manufactured under identical conditions and assigned a identifying lot number for use, technical, manufactuering , production, and supply purposes. 14. 20 96-gallon bins on hand all the time or only when CLIN 002 or CLIN 003 are requested? No need to have on hand at all times. The government will let you know in advance when we need to schedule the unscheduled shred events. Government Response: The unscheduled shred events consist of: The government will notify contractor of the required shred date in advance. Contractor will provide bins in advance and on the scheduled shred date the Contractor will be on site to shred all that day The purpose of this Amendment 2 is to answer vendor questions and answers. If vendors have questions, they must be asked prior to the closing of the request. Answers will be posted within twenty four (24) hours of being asked.
