The Government intends to purchase on a firm fixed price basis, and to solicit and negotiate the proposed purchase order on a sole source basis with BAE Systems Technology Solutions & Services, Inc for Pitch and Roll Cables for SPN-35C, under the authority implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) by FAR Part 13.106-1(b). BAE is the original equipment manufacturer and maintain proprietary rights to technical data required to manufacture the required equipment. Offeror’s must be registered in the System for Award Management Registration (SAM) database prior to submission of an offer to be considered for award of any DoD contract. This may be accomplished electronically at http://www.sam.gov. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
