U.S. Government ~ Tax Exempt AMENDMENT 0002 This is an amendment to Solicitation N0042122Q0587 (Amendment 0002) which is being re-issued as a full and open competition. The Government intends to purchase on a firm fixed-price basis and to solicit and award the proposed purchase order on a brand name basis for EMS Radio Frequency Interference Filters, as listed, under the authority implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 and FAR Part 13. All quotes/responses shall be submitted via email to Cheri Swailes at cheri.a.swailes.civ@us.navy.mil no later than 1:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time (EST) on 26 September 2022. Solicitation N0042122Q0587 AMD 0002 is issued as a combined synopsis/solicitation. This is a firm fixed-price procurement. Therefore, the Offeror’s initial offer should represent the vendor’s best quote in terms of price and technical acceptability. The Radio Frequency Interference Filters from EMS Development Corporation owned by Ultra Electronics Defense, Inc. are custom-manufactured parts that must meet the required form, fit and function of the AN/UPX-24(V) assembly specification, as well as be able to pass all military specifications. The vendor must also be able to meet delivery date requirements in order for the quote to be considered technically acceptable. Offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management Registration (SAM) database prior to submission of an offer to be considered for award of any DoD contract. This may be accomplished electronically at http://www.sam.gov. NO SUBSTITUTIONS ACCEPTED – Items must be covered under the manufacturer’s Warranty and be compliant with the AN/UPX-24(V) assembly specification and military specifications. Vendor must submit signed documentation verifying compliance. *MUST BE TAA COMPLIANT* OR *PROVIDE COUNTRY OR ORIGIN* ***Instruction to Offerors*** Solicitation closing date/time is firm. Quotes received after the deadline will not be accepted. Quotes must contain enough technical information (i.e. data sheet, drawing, specification, etc.) for evaluation and will only be evaluated based on the information provided. Award will be made on the basis of lowest evaluated price of quotes meeting or exceeding the acceptability standards.
