Solicitation N0042122Q0164 is issued as a combined synopsis/solicitation. The Government intends to purchase on a firm fixed-price basis, and to solicit and negotiate the proposed purchase order on a sole source basis with Trescal, Inc for Calibration of items from multiple manufacturers as listed in the Statement of Work under the authority implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) by FAR Part 12, and FAR Part 13. Trescal Inc is the only factory-authorized service center for all the original equipment manufacturers (OEM) of the required equipment needing calibration. Offerors must be registered in SAM.GOV database prior to submission of an offer to be considered for award of any DoD contract. This may be accomplished electronically at http://www.SAM.gov. This is a firm fixed-price procurement; therefore, the offeror’s initial offer should represent the vendor’s best quote in terms of price and technical acceptability. This notice is intent to Sole Source with Trescal Inc. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. However, all quotes received by 5:00PM Eastern Standard Time on 16 March 2022 will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government.
