Solicitation N0042120T0026 is issued as a synopsis/solicitation. The Government intends to purchase on a firm fixed-price basis and to solicit and negotiate the proposed purchase order on a brand name basis under the authority of FAR 52.211-6 . Requested must be Spectracom and Secure Sync products under the authority of FAR Part 12, FAR Part 13. The integrity of the RDT&E network would be at stake if new platform configurations were introduced, particularly with a staff unfamiliar with off-brands. As such, the potential for introduction of IA vulnerabilities is significantly higher. The requested items must be compatible with the existing equipment. Offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to submission of an offer to be considered for award of any DoD contract. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. The Government will consider all proposals received by 5:00 pm 11 May 2020. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The Government will not pay for any information received.
