The Government intends to purchase on a firm fixed-price basis and to solicit the proposed purchase order as a Sole Source with Carrier Corporation., Inc. The chillers require manufacturer expertise (certified Carrier technicians). The operating controls contain proprietary software that can only be accessed and programed by the manufacturer. The manufacturer does not provide the necessary information to authorized servicers; therefore, there is no other company but Carrier that perform the maintenance. Offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to submission of an offer to be considered for award of any DoD contract. This may be accomplished electronically at https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM. Award all or none See Attached RFQ. Your quote must contain enough technical information to evaluate your quote. Please reference the Solicitation number above (N00421-20-T-XXX) on your quote. Technicians must be U.S. Citizens and certified by Carrier Please include your Cage Code. Only quotes from the OEM or authorized distributors will be evaluated. The Government intends to award this on a sole source basis. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. However, all quotations/responses received by closing date of this notice will be considered by the government, all responses to this solicitation must be received no later than 12:00 pm est. on 5 May 2020. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The Government will not pay for any information received.
