The Government intends to purchase on a firm fixed-price basis and to solicit the proposed purchase order on a Brand Name Sole Source with Mircrosoft under the authority of FAR Part 12, FAR Part 13. The integrity of the Program's network would be at stake if new platform configurations were introduced, particularly with a staff unfamiliar with off-brands. As such, the potential for introduction of IA vulnerabilities is significantly higher. Offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to submission of an offer to be considered for award of any DoD contract. This may be accomplished electronically at https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM. Preference will be given to quotes from small businesses. Award all or none. Items must be TAA Compliant.
