This is a follow-on Request for Information (RFI) to identify potential small business sources for an anticipated Multiple Award Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity contract (MA IDIQ) for Contracted Maintenance, Modifications, Aircrew, and Related Services - Kits, Recovery, Augmentation, Components, & Engines (CMMARS-KRACEn) with a potential ceiling value exceeding $1B. NAVAIR originally conducted market research in July 2018 and determined a new strategic contract vehicle was necessary to fulfil capability/sustainment gaps within Naval Aviation. NAVAIR would like to conduct this follow-on market research due to the potential increase in small business capabilities. The prospective requirement is described below: The CMMARS-KRACEn scope provides services for less than full aircraft maintenance and shall support worldwide efforts to include: * Kits/Kitting, and installation/modification services (Technical Directives, Supplemental Type Certificates); * Repair and/or Recovery of aircraft on ground (AOG); * Labor augmentation to support Organizational (O), Intermediate (I), and Depot (D) maintenance activities; * Component repair, overhaul, rework or maintenance; * Aircraft engines overhaul and/or repairs; * Landing gear, propeller, and rotor maintenance, repair, overhaul, or rework; * On and off-site aircraft washes, painting and corrosion control; * Support equipment maintenance, calibration, repair, overhaul, and/or rework; * Aircraft contractor logistics support (CLS) for off-aircraft support, and/or satellite site small operations.
