Solicitation N0042120Q00538 is issued as intent to sole source. The Government intends to purchase on a firm fixed price basis, and to solicit and negotiate the proposed purchase order on a sole source basis with Electro Switch Corp DBA: Digitran for switch modules listed, under the authority implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) by FAR Part 13.106-1(b). Electro Switch Corp DBA: Digitran is a small business. The required Switch Modules are an existing item already in the C-10065/UPX-24 and are a required part of the AN/UPX-24A Interrogator Set to provide interoperability with existing assemblies. Digitran holds all rights in the design and manufacture of the switches as they are commercial items. Their one facility in Southern California sells these products direct and there are no alternative sources for these products. Offeror’s must be registered in the System for Award Management Registration (SAM) database prior to submission of an offer to be considered for award of any DoD contract.
