The Government intends to purchase on a firm fixed-price basis, and to solicit and negotiate the proposed purchase order on a sole source basis with RTD Embedded Technologies Inc for HIDAN Rugged Boards listed, under the authority implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) by FAR Part 13.106-1(b). RTD Embedded Technologies Inc is a small business. RTD Embedded Technologies is the manufacturer and sole provider of the required items, they have been ruggedized by request and customized for application. These items from the manufacturer are uniquely developed to ensure the device will work in conjunction with parts already in use. Overall, these boards combined serve as the interface controller between the platform and the system that it is being installed into. Offeror’s must be registered in the System for Award Management Registration (SAM) database prior to submission of an offer to be considered for award of any DoD contract.
