The Government intends to purchase on a firm fixed-price basis, and to solicit and negotiate the proposed purchase order on a sole source basis with Milcots LLC. under the authority implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) by FAR Part 12 and 13. ***Basis for Award*** MILCOTS, a small business, is the only vendor willing to custom build a replacement touchscreen display to meet form, fit, & function for the Teguar TR-2920-08 that has been fielded for the AN/SPN-41B system in the fleet. This notice is intent to Sole Source with Milcots LLC. This is a firm fixed-price procurement; therefore, the offeror’s initial offer should represent the vendor’s best quote in terms of price and technical acceptability.
