The Government intends to purchase on a firm fixed-price basis, and to solicit and negotiate the proposed purchase order on a sole source basis with Columbus Jack Corporation, under the authority implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) by FAR Part 13.106-1(b). Columbus Jack Corporation is the only manufacturer capable of meeting the necessary requirements of the USCG, due to these items being designed to work specifically with the C-27 aircraft. The requested jack models are the direct replacements of what is currently fielded. Offeror’s must be registered in the System for Award Management Registration (SAM) database prior to submission of an offer to be considered for award of any DoD contract.
